Who we are
This website belongs to Lena Akbari, a real estate agent with Sample Realty (demo). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and how we protect it, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
When you fill in a form, we collect the details you give us, such as your name, phone number, email, preferred language, property address and your message. When you use the virtual assistant, we collect what you type or say, along with any contact details you choose to share. We also collect basic, anonymous website statistics through Google Analytics.
Why we collect it
We use your information only to reply to you, provide real estate services you ask for, book consultations and showings, and improve this website. We do not sell your personal information.
The virtual assistant
Lena's virtual assistant is an AI tool, not a person. It runs on Google's Gemini AI service. Conversations may be recorded, transcribed and summarized so Lena can follow up with you, and Google may use chat content to improve its products, so please do not share sensitive information such as ID, SIN or banking details in the chat. The assistant does not give legal, tax, mortgage or financial advice. You can ask to speak with Lena directly at any time.
Who we share it with
Your information may be shared with Lena's brokerage and with service providers that help us run this website, such as our form service, email provider and AI assistant platform. These providers may store data outside Canada and must protect it.
Marketing messages
We only send newsletters or marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every message includes a way to unsubscribe.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by contacting us at lena@example.com.
MLS® listing search
When you view an MLS® listing, we send The Canadian Real Estate Association (through REALTOR.ca Canada Inc.) the listing number, your IP address and a random identifier stored in a cookie, as its rules require, so it can report how often listings are viewed. What you type in the virtual assistant is processed by Google's Gemini AI service to create your search. Listing details are not sent to the AI.
